Have a great 2012 all!

Black-eared Kite (Neil Kumar)
I would like to thank everyone who tuned in to my blog during 2011 and I hope that you will continue to do so during 2012.

I also wish you all a very safe, prosperous and bird-filled 2012.

Remember: keep looking up and always expect to see everything and nothing - that way you will never be disappointed.

Hiya David

Finished your book last night - not at all bad, I enjoyed it anyway. I'm hoping to get out and about and see a bit more of waht Dorktown has to offer birdwise this year. I just hope my noisey mobility scooter won't scare them all away ;-)))

Happy New Year David, mentioned your quote of "keep looking up" whilst guiding up the Findhorn valley... just as Golden Eagle was getting buzzed by a Perg!!

Hope 2012 is good for your scrubs patch, any predictions for best birs to turn up?

Hi,
I really enjoy your site and blog..Thanks. Look up. You might be surprised I remember being downtown in a large city; looking up and seeing hundreds of butterflies migrating while scores of unknowing pedestrians went on their way.

I just wrote a few words on my blog about birding in the city.
